SIP in Journal of Signal Processing Systems

"Information-Theoretic Multiclass Classification Based on Binary Classifiers", an article contributed by the SIP group, has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Signal Processing Systems. The work is an extension of a simpler version at the MLSP 2009 conference in Grenoble.

The SIP group has been invited to contribute an article to a special issue of the journal on the grounds that:

"This special issue is per invitation only and aims at gathering
oustanding contributions presented during the workshop and produce a
milestone collection of papers in the field of machine learning for
signal processing.

Your contribution presented during the workshop was rated among the best
papers submitted, and we would be delighted if you would be willing to
submit an extended version of your conference paper."
