Workshop on Information Forensics and Security
The SIP group has presented a paper entitled ``Privacy Amplification of Content Identification Systems based on Fingerprint Bit Reliability'' at the prestigious 2010 Workshop on Information Forensics and Security (WIFS). One of the highlights of the presentation was a demonstration of the polarized behaviour of fingerprint bits created using random projections. The scientific contribution of the SIP group opens doors to faster and more accurate idention systems that offer better privacy protection.
The WIFS of 2010 was of exceptionally high level, only a very small percentage of the submitted papers could be accepted.
